Drive Other Car Coverage

Driver other car coverage, commonly shortened to DOC, is a business auto endorsement intended to provide broadened coverage.  DOC grants specific named individuals coverage on vehicles that do not have to be scheduled on an auto policy.  This endorsement is commonly used when an executive officer is given a company vehicle to use for business purposes and doesn’t have a personal auto policy in place.  DOC also extends coverage for named individuals in regards to vehicles that are non-owned, like short term leases.

How much does a business auto policy cost?

Business auto premiums are based on numerous factors.  These can include: the size of the business, type of vehicles, number of vehicles, number of drivers, radius of operation and the location of your business.
